In 1997, I had the privilege of meeting Judy Bell for the first time during my interview process for the USGA Foundation. I was fortunate to be one of the first four people hired to help run the new $50 million For the Good of the Game grants initiative.
As President of the USGA, Judy Bell’s vision, expertise and chutzpah amazed me during the three years I worked for the USGA. I was happy to see recently that Mr. Bill Hybl (CEO of the El Pomar Foundation), honored Judy with a structure known as the The Bell Pavilion.
